Types of TDP Lamps

TDP lamps are controversial but effective medical devices offering you temporary pain relief and by stimulating the flow of blood to the area exposed to the lamp, diminish inflammation and helps in diminishing arthritic pain.

A TDP lamp emits far infrared rays or far infrared heat which are mineral specific to the minerals bonded on the heating plate of the device. These lamps have a timer, a head with heat reflector and a heating plate covered with a layer of minerals. The heat from a TDP  lamp can reach up to 850 degree F and it starts to emit infrared rays which when combined with the power of the minerals have a beneficial effect upon the body.  It supposedly boosts up the immunity system, repairs cells, revitalizes the vital force and rejuvenates the body. It is also used to treat 30 diseases in humans and in animals.

To use a TDP lamp, you only need to expose your skin to it for 15-20 minutes at a distance of some inches, the distance calculated by a pleasantly warm feeling. Too high a heating level and too near an exposed area to the heating plate can cause one unwanted burns.

There are different types of TDP lamps in the market today. From the original patented Chinese version invented by Mr. Gou Wenbin in 1978, we find many new diversifications in the original model being sold under descriptive and imaginative names and numbers of the models. Some of these diversifications are FIR lamps, FIR energizers and also as bio-spectrum lamps.

You also get some numbered models being sold under numbering like CQ-270A/B. CQ-33, CQ-222A/B/C/D, CQ-27, CQ-55A, CQ-12 etc. The original lamp built in 1978 is called 1.0 and now newer versions have versions with two heating heads. In 3.0 you have a digital timing clock instead of a manual timer. The average life span of a mineral metal plate is 1500 hours.

There are other versions and types of TDP lamps coming out in the market, with different mineral plate material combinations, higher and lower radiation emission rates and ranges as well as compactly designed bodies. Bio spectrum lamps not only have rays emitting infrared rays, but also have other rays of the spectrum in small doses being sent out, almost like tanning lamps.

Broad spectrum lamps differ from TDP lamps with having a 2-25 micron radiation range with a 7-11 micron peak value of radiations. These normally work for 10,000 hours when compared to the 1000 hr life of a TDP lamp’s mineral plate. This can be used by Massage Therapists, Sports Therapists, Chiropractors, Acupuncturists, MD Doctors, Physical Therapists, Naturopaths, Healthcare Professionals and Dentists to give temporary relief in cases of muscle strain and relaxation and joint stiffness.

TDP Multi Frequency Mineral Wave Lamps can be used for the treatment of back pain, chronic wounds, arthritis thyroid problems, joint pain, psoriasis chronic ulcer, herpes bronchitis,, asthma, diabetes, injuries  and chronic gastritis .

TDP Table Lamps are smaller and more compact TDP lamps which has a mineral plate made up of 32 minerals.

Even though infrared lamps are just like TDP lamps in the fact that they also emit infrared rays, they are not being used for heat therapy. However you can use these lamps to heat up your rooms, or large surface areas in businesses like banks .An infrared lamp mainly consists of an infrared ray emitting incandescent bulb. These rays emitted from these lamps destroy surface bacteria on food while cooking it.

How does TDP Lamp work?

A TDP or Teding Diancibo Pu lamp is an innovative medical device created by a Chinese scientist Dr. Gou Wenbin in 1978. He noticed that some workers in a black clay making factory were exposed to undesirable climatic conditions like lots of heat and cold yet they fell sick very rarely. He decided that there must have been some factor in the clay which made the workers immune to normal human ailments.

On research and analysis of the clay, he found that it had some minerals which when combined with far red infrared radiation helped in the temporary relief in aches and pains as well as in muscular sprains.  Thus the first TDP lamp came into being. Further clinical tests have found out that about 30 diseases ranging from skin diseases to arthritis and bronchitis can be alleviated with a regular 10 day treatment through a TDP lamp. In these 20 years of a TDP lamp’s existence, more than 40 million people have blessed it for relieving them of muscular pain as well as making their immunity system stronger.

This amazing boon to health improves your metabolism and microcirculation, builds up your immunity system and rejuvenates you in the same manner in which Oriental ancients used herbs , minerals and heat combinations to live Methuselah’s years.  The  need for a human body to replenish deficient minerals and vitamins so that the body can revitalize its living force or QI is the basis of this idea of a mineral plated iron plate exposed to extreme heat and rays to get ions into the bloodstream.

The blood corpuscles decide to get up and go, in improved microcirculation, just by a little heat therapy through a TDP lamp. The idea behind this is that a healthy body gives out an aura of waves in a spectrum. A TDP lamp duplicates that same healing and healthy spectrum based healing power in a more powerful and dynamically beneficial manner. Any sunlight which the body does not manage to capture is caught in the TDP lamps infrared wave emission ranges to help the body heal quickly.

Apart from this tests have been conducted on diseases like pneumonia, paralysis, arthritis, angina, low metabolism among other diseases , skin problems and injuries and positive results have been obtained, even though, unfortunately  the FDA , as usual ,still does not find these test conclusive.

A TDP lamp consists of a head -consisting of a mineral iron plate, heat reflector, insulation pads and a wire box,-a flexible arm. A vertical rod, a rotary base and an electronic timer.  A TDP lamp is heated to 860 degrees F where the emitted radiations head the mineral covered surface of the hot plate and let the glowing invisible rays hit the exposed skin, placed about 10 inches away from the lamp’s heating and heated hot plate.

To be treated effectively, you must use this TDP lamp for 7 to 10 days, for sessions of 15 to 30 minutes twice or thrice a day. Remember that babies who cannot communicate that the heat level is too high can be exposed to heat burns. (By the way why would you want to treat a little baby to a TDP lamp‘s rays?)

Sensitive skin can also be burnt on too much exposure. The skin should have a tingly warm sensation, when placed under a TDP lamp. Miracle cures don’t happen overnight. So be patient and use your TDP lamps carefully, sensibly and judiciously.

What is a mineral lamp?

Think yourself as basking under the sun with no intention of getting sun burnt. You add skin protecting lotions or in their absence, promise yourself a short sun session. This is the same case while basking under a TDP mineral lamp.

This mineral lamp was invented in 1978 by Dr. Gou Wenbin, as a new innovative medical health device used for curing a variety of ailments. A TDP  lamp is mainly therapeutic , using heat in the form of harmless infrared rays combining with the rejuvenating  powers of many minerals (33 in number) to treat different diseases like arthritis, sprains, bronchitis and a variety of other diseases , while not getting burnt.

This miracle lamp as it is called in Hong Kong and China is different from microwave therapeutic medical devices, infrared lamps and conventional heat convector lamps. Mineral lamps have an iron plate bonded with more than 33 minerals like silicon, rubidium, arsenic, manganese, vanadium molybdenum, aluminum, copper, zinc, nickel, iodine, chromium, cobalt, zirconium, potassium, tin, strontium, carbon, lithium, boron, magnesium, sulfur, cadmium, antimony, calcium, sodium, bismuth selenium, germanium, barium, titanium, and phosphorus. (WHEW!)

The moment the inbuilt heating element in the head of the TDP mineral lamp is activated; there is an infrared ray emission of a specific spectrum in the 2-25 micron range which is equal to the human body’s electromagnetic radiations emanated.  So there is an immediate absorption of these rays.

A good mineral lamp may look like an ordinary lamp, but it does not emit any light which can be seen by the naked eye. Its main job is to provide localized heating through infrared rays to elevate the temperature of inflamed tissue, and thus provide temporary relief to joint stiffness and muscle aches and sprains.

The soothing heat gives a lot of relief to aching muscles with a 2-25 micron emission in infrared wavelength.
You can imagine TDP or mineral lamps mineral lamps to be heat lamps with an infrared emission instead of a black radiation.

Thanks to TDP Mineral lamps, now you can undergo medical treatment which will provide you dry heat during times when you cannot use other treatment methods.   These mineral lamps are extremely helpful in faster muscle strain recovery, raised tissue temperature, cell rejuvenation, capillary vessel expansion, increase in blood circulation, removes dangerous cell toxins, improves and strengthens the immunity system of the body.

When undergoing treatment with mineral diseases ( 30 diseases at the last count ranging from Bronchitis to arthritis and everything in between, one has to be careful not to allow the skin to be exposed for long durations of time to the rays. One may suffer from mild cases of heat burns because of staying under the rays for more than 30 minutes in one session. You can undergo two sessions in one day.

Some people think that they will be cured faster if they undergo 5-7 sessions a day with the heat turned on at full speed, trying to get a 7 day session completed in a couple of days.

The logic behind it is when a 7 day two times a day session can be completed in 7 days; two days seven times a day session should be more effective and faster in curing your pestilential ailment. You do not have Superman or wonder woman’s body, and nature needs to go through its own sweet time in curing you.

What is a TDP lamp?

TDP mineral lamp is a heating device using infrared rays. This comes under the FDA class 2 categories of medical devices. The idea behind this TDP lamp is that the natural processes of healing in the body are accelerated with microcirculation, upon the limited and regulated impact of infrared light.

With the addition of QI (the oriental concept of vital living energy flow into a body) through these infrared rays , this lamp substitutes therapeutically for moxibustion,- the use of mug wort as a traditional medicine in Oriental countries like Korea and Tibet. This is ground to a powder and used in acupuncture needles to heal an ailment. So, instead of using mugwort, therapists are using TDP mineral lamps to give patients suffering from arthritis and body pain some temporary relief.

The invention of TDP mineral lamps can mostly be described as a serendipitous chance analyzed by a sensible person and utilized to help future patients. TDP stands for Teding Diancibo Pu which is Chinese for special electromagnetic spectrums.

Mr. Gou Wenbin invented TDP mineral lamps in 1978 when he heard the story of miners working in a factory of black clay, who though exposed to extreme conditions of heat and cold still managed to show a very low illness rate. This was when the idea of the black clay radiating good far infrared rays beneficial to the body, struck Mr. Wenbin who started to experiment with the clay. And that is how a TDP mineral lamp came into being.

It was shown all over the world in exhibitions and by 1979, 3000 doctors, 250 hospitals, 36 universities, 41 research institutes and 45 graduate schools had decided to research more upon the benefits of this natural miracle. Since then the ideas of therapy done by TDP mineral lamps has not looked back.

Some of the most amazing facts of a TDP mineral lamp treatment is that 30 different animal and human disorders and diseases have been known to be treated effectively with the exposure to far infrared rays emitting from TDP mineral lamps.

35 million people have already benefitted by reducing pain and inflammation, repairing damaged cells, and improving the qi and microcirculation in an aging body. The immunity system of a body also gets stronger and the activity levels of enzymes also get increased, beneficially.

After China patented TDP mineral lamps in 1992, they began to be imported to the US through a company known as Sacred Crane. The China State Medicine Bureau has also given TDP mineral lamps a recognized and approved Medical Apparatus and Instruments Certificate.

Even though this product was patented, there are 23 versions in the market, led by Gou-Gong” manufactured by the CSRI. Export of this brand has been stopped in many us states because of inferior heating elements which had a failure rate up to 50%.

TDP mineral lamps consist of a head, an electronic timer, a straight pole, a base which rotates easily and a spring arm. In the head you will find a plate which can be heated electrically, a reflector of heated rays, an insulator, a wire grill and a plate made of different mineral combinations which include arsenic, titanium, antimony, sulfur, aluminum, boron, calcium, cadmium, barium, cobalt chromium, bismuth, carbon, strontium silicon, sodium, zirconium, tin, magnesium, selenium, potassium, germanium, copper, rubidium, lithium, phosphorus, manganese, , nickel, molybdenum iodine zinc and vanadium.

A combination of these metals in different proportions is bonded upon the mineral plate which is a stable background for the fragile layer of minerals. These minerals show their power when the lamp heated to 860-70 degrees F starts to emit infrared radiation. Treatment means treating your skin to these rays 15-20 minutes a day, a couple of times for a week.
